Murdoch: Young people with Internet



A large number of young people noted that they spent over the internet to get news more than reading newspapers to get information and learn different things.
According the speech  of RupertMurdovich ford american Society of Newspaper editors, a group of young people aged between 18-34 years are using the Internet to meet their needs.
Many of them have been following the events occurring around through the various networks, including the major news organizations, learning.
 And he realised that about next generation of people accessing news and information from newspapers or any other source about the kind of news and how, where and who they will get it from.
He said consumers between the ages of 18-34 are increasingly use the web as their medium of choice for news consumption

He quoted a report by the Carnegie Corparation about young peoples changing habits of news consumption and  what they mean for the future of the news industry.
He added, study found that 39 percent expected to use the internet more than to learn  about the news and only 8 pecent expected to use traditional newspapers more.
It seems that, young people are acessing news, they do not want to rely on the morning paper for their up date information..
He worned they have to apply a digital mindset to a new set of challlenges. He was talking about the role of newspapers in the digital age
